We are having a sing-along party, and you're invited! The Pittsboro Song Circle happens in Chatham County (near the Orange County line) on the second Friday of the month. We have pot luck munchies -- bring a snack or drink, and your voices and enthusiasm. We use a "play, pick, or pass" format for our circles. We meet weekly to play our acoustic instruments and to experience the joy of music shared. Each person in the circle takes a turn in saying what the next song will be. He/she says what the key is and says what the chords are. Others then follow along. This jam is best for intermediate skilled musicians. Types of music include folk, blues, mellow rock, bluegrass, country and gospel.
